I'm a research astronomer at Carnegie Observatories in Pasadena, CA. My interests include groups and clusters of galaxies, elliptical galaxies, dark matter, active galaxies and blackholes. I am also a scientific editor for The Astrophysical Journal. In addition to my research, I am actively involved in public outreach and educational activities.
