Attending: Mark Phillips (LS telephone), Frank Perez, David Osip (LCO video), Tyson Hare, Christoph Birk, Alan Dressler, Alan Uomoto (SBS video and phone)
Contents
Dressler reviewed the latest IMACS findings. Frank noted that IMACS wanders in the Z-direction a few hundredths of an inch when disconnected from the rotator and turned a few tens of degrees. This shouldn't occur if IMACS is attached to the rotator with the flexure bar, but we don't know. Experiment is to measure Z-motion when connected to the rotator.
Hartmann measurements will be done at F/4 before moving the camera to F/2 this engineering time.
Mark Phillips will shim the dewar on the F/2 camera side (not dewar side) to take out the focal plane tilt.
David Osip will obtain flats (twilight and dome light) for many filters and multiple rotation angles.
The IMACSTasks list was updated.
The engineering A-list (EngineeringMeetings) was updated.
