CorMASS as a Magellan visiting instrument

CorMASS (http://www.astro.virginia.edu/research/instrumentation/cormass.html) is a cross-dispersed low-resolution near-infrared point-source spectrograph that has been operated at Palomar, VATT, and APO. Kevin Luhman (<kluhman AT cfa DOT harvard DOT edu>) is leading the effort to bring it to Magellan.

Resolving power	300 (pls confirm)
Slit width	0.4 arc seconds on Magellan (pls correct)
Slit length	3 arc seconds on Magellan (pls correct)
Detector	NICMOS-3 2562 HgCdTe
Wavelength coverage	0.8 - 2.3 microns (i', z', J, H, Ks)
Data reduction	Iraf, IDL combination
